Wikipedia has locked my entry until November 30, due to "excessive vandalism". Please resume the vandalism on December 1. Entries to the Vandalise My Wikipedia Entry competition remain open.

My appearance

Like everyone else, I have a personal appearance. Unlike most other people, I have a personal appearance at Abbeys Bookshop in Sydney on Wednesday 24 November, 6pm-8pm. I will be signing books and talking to people, I think. I will try to get the details onto my "Events" page.

A desperate attempt to please followers

How come four people have answered but I only have two followers?
There was a story in the Sydney Sun-Herald this morning about a man who was swimming in a saltwater pool when a council worker opened the outflow pipe, which sucked the swimmer out into the ocean. The victim was described as an "award-winning author". It's got me worried that award-winning authors might be especially vulnerable to this type of freak accident.
